How do you calculate fuel cost for a road trip?

Metric: distance (km) × consumption (L/100km) ÷ 100 × price ($/L). Imperial: distance (miles) ÷ MPG × price ($/gallon). Example: 300 miles, 30 MPG, $3.50/gal → 300 ÷ 30 × $3.50 = $35.

How do I calculate my real fuel consumption?

How do I convert L/100km to MPG?
